StartSoundRandomizer
StartSoundRandomizer sets a randomly chosen start sound which is played each time Windows is started.
As I had enough of hearing the same boring start sound every time I started Windows, I thought of a program that prevents you from hearing the same stuff over and over again...

To install StartSoundRandomizer, please follow these steps:
  1. Copy StartSoundRandomizer.exe to your hard disk
  2. Get a couple of WAVE sounds and copy them into a folder of your choice.
  3. Run StartSoundRandomizer.exe. A dialog will a appear prompting you to enter the path where you have placed the WAVE files.
  4. In the Autostart folder, create a shortcut to StartSoundRandomizer.exe.
By creating the shortcut in the Autostart folder, StartSoundRandomizer is executed each time Windows is started. StartSoundRandomizer then chooses a WAVE file by random and modifies the corresponding registry entries and terminates. So it does not use any resources any more while you are working!
