Can i set language?
It seems not, i have Italian SO and it's automatically translated in italian.
I would like to use English language.

Furthermore if i want to print both Inlay and Label is not possible (no Inlay voice under menu tree)

Excellent piece of software except for the fact that I cannot delete templates which I have created. Is this a bug?

I am using Windows XP.

I used your program with Windows XP. I really liked it. A few months ago, when I switched to Vista, I found that your program was not yet compatable. I checked back tonight and found you have a Vista version. I left a small donation. Not much but all I can afford for now. Thank you so much.

I wrote an article of 2 pages on Emule&Co magazine N. 11, an italian monthly magazine.

May be you could verify and or correct the "save"functions of "booklet".
I cannot save texts well, not if I add corrections the next time I open the document: all corrections are gone and not saved! Very .....unhandy.
If I make a mistake? Please let me know.

can't print data cd back cover. Printer works with other software. Printer: HP 1012. Windows XP professsional. CD Cover creator version 2.5.2.

It worked perfectly on my old computer under Windows XP.Under Windows Vista home premium it doesn't.What can be the reason.(I downloaded version 2.5.2 on my new computer).

i needed a program that would allow me to create very simple (plain text) cd covers for all my back up data cd's. yours is the only free program that i have come across that lets me print without putting a background picture on!! why other programs want me to waste that much ink i do not know :(

I tried to download your latest for Vista Premium, but got no pleasure. Even tried your Vista compatability. Your old 2.5.1 works well, but I cannot upgrade. Templates, cover page, opening page, etc are all missing. The 2.5.2 is a total mess.

habe ihr programm ausprobiert,

als erstes faellt auf das es ungefragt eine online verbindung aufbauen will, und die bedienung, ist muehsam. ich wuerde mehrere eingabenfelder fuer inlay, vorderseite vorziehen.

als vorlage wie cd cover editor 2.6

beim drucken druckt es das inlay abgeschnitten ohne schneidrahmen

so wie es jetzt ist, ist es alles andere, als bedienungsfreundlich

I've been playing with this software (and a few others) for the past few days. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why when I tried to print the slim case cover/inlay in CDCoverCreator, the inlay was always too short to fill the jewelcase. AHA! I was using the wrong cover style in the CCC page setup, and the wrong paper size in the CCC Print Setup. Once I changed the paper size to Legal (8.5"x14") and the jewel case style to Avery 8931 Tray Insert (Cover & Inlay), it was perfect!! I'm as happy as a clam now and am ready to buy nice, glossy paper so I can create the finished product. This software is awesome and exactly what I was looking for!!

Nice software but I don't like the fact that you can't remove the background graphic from the inlay or that it must be the same as the cover. For this reason alone, I'm afraid I won't be using it.

hi..great program. i love the booklet featuer...cheaper them me getting roxio...i do have one question...i cant get the margin numbers to stay where i want them....if i want 2.5 cm ,,i get eather 2, 25, 250..and so on...getting the margins easier is my only complaint......well done from canada

CC is much better than proprietary Roxio/Nero attempts!
One small problem: I do a lot of CD/DVD recording and don't like the 'time' format: '0#:XX' - for example: '03:35' for a track time when I want it to read: '3:35'
It causes me problems with Excel.
You offer this option for track numbers. Could you alter this?
I have Vers 2.5 + XP Home SP2 and will be d/l 2.5.2 now. Thanks again for a fine product!

Also like to take the time and report a bug:

On windows vista the install went great. However the install program needed to be selected as windows xp service pack 2 emulation mode. Running the program itself without any compatiblity seems to run. So far no bug on that to report. The installer is the only thing that hiccups.

Und ich meine zu wissen, wovon ich spreche. Denn ich habe die letzten drei Arbeitstage damit zugebracht, so gut wie alles, was ich an Cover-Software auf dem Markt gefunden habe (und das war nicht wenig) zu testen. KEIN Programm konnte alle Ansprüche erfüllen: Daten einlesen können, alle Komponenten vom Label bis zum Inlet aus einem Guss etc. Überall hat etwas gefehlt oder war viiiiiiiiel zu umständlich für unsere TeilnehmerInnen. IHRES KANN ES.

Ach so: Ich bin Gründer von Europas ältestes PC-Seminarinstitut für Menschen ab 50, das mehr als 40 verschiedene Veranstaltungen aus allen Anwendungbereichen anbietet. Ab September wollen wir auch das Thema "CD/DVD-Labling" aufnehmen, deshalb die Testerei.

Ich war gleich so begeistert, dass ich - nach einem Blick auf Ihre Homepage - gleich anbieten wollte, Ihnen das Manual zu schreiben. Aber da Sie ohnehin in der Sprache firm sind, wird das wohl nicht nötig sein (sollten Sie doch Interesse haben: Wir gestalten prinzipiell unsere eignen Seminarunterlagen zu jedem Thema - da könnte man wohl unschwer ein Manual daraus machen; bin gerne dazu bereit).

Ja, das wollte ich also los werden. Und natürlich werden wir unsere TeilnehmerInnen "einladen", fleißig zu donaten. Hoffe das ist Ihnen recht :-)

Eine kleine Frage habe ich auch noch (hab mir das Progi erst eine halbe Stunde lang angesehen, möglicherweise käme ich später ohnehin drauf):

1. Bei der Auswahl eines Datenordners von der HD werden die Daten im Booklet nicht angezeigt (von CD schon); ist das so beabsichtigt oder habe ich nur ein numerisches Limit überschritten?

2. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Textfarbe bei der generierten Datenliste zu ändern, ohne ein Stylesheet anlen zu müssen?

Wie gesagt: Ich muss es mir wohl erst noch genauer ansehen.

Can you put a line in at the bottom of the cd cover (front) that would print out the amount of space left on the cd? It would be very helpful. Just a small one line maybe...like Space left: ___? I love the program.

Have you considered making a program that would keep track of all the software on your computer, including author, registration keys, websites, when it was bought and for how much etc...?

Using this programme in addition to a programme like Word is a great help. You can do all sorts of formating by importing, such as bullets, and page breaks.

I'm looking forward to version 2.5!

Habe Dein Programm gefunden und es ist sehr hilfreich, habe bis jetzt erst 1 Probecdcover erstellt, was mir aufgefallen ist. Der Titel der CD wird immer in Striftgröße 0 dargestellt, egal welche Schriftgröße man auswählt, das muß händisch korregiert werden, aber sonst macht das Programm genau was ich will.

I have installed Cd Cover Creater v2.2
& it is amazingly useful. I tried the higher versions, but with WindowsMe they freeze. Even v2.2 is way easier than other programs of this type.

It doen't work. I created a back insert, saved it, modified it, and saved it again but none of the changes were saved even when I saved it as a different name!

I feel like I have to apologize to you.

I reported that cdcovercreator was responsible for crashing explorer.exe. And indeed, after uninstalling it the problem disappeared, until now that is.
For some reason the problem is back, so it can't have been caused by the program after all.

Well, I'll have to keep looking for the cause, although i have no idea what to do.It is driving me crazy.

Anyway, sorry for blaming your program.

Over the past two weeks or so, I have had lots of computer crashes. This happened when using the search option and when right clicking on an empty space. At first i thought that XP SP2 was causing the problem or by a program I had installed recently.

Nothing I did (including formatting the hd and reinstalling Windows 4 or 5 times) could fix the problem. Only when I found some information on the internet about this type of crash, it was possible to do something about it.

To cut a long story short, the problem was caused by CdCoverCreator (right click menu).
Uninstalling it made everything work normally again, finally. It took many hours of frustration I can tell you.

I just wanted to say that REAL nice work with this one! I just love your software.. That cd label browser is soooo nice, and cddb support is VERY useful! only thing what I dont like is that cddb gives "remarks" tab to the tracklist what I wouldnt want to have, so I need to always delete all the remarks, havent found a way to disable it. And also, the tracks could come left end of the cover and lenght to right end, now they come just with a little space between them.. or better yet, the track titles in one movable groub and lenghts in other, so they are easily aligned where everyone wants.. but still, Awsome software! please continue your great work with this one. Thanks alot!

Hello There, I have been trying out the new "CDCC" and I must admit it's very impressive. I normally use Adaptec Easy CD Creator v3.5 to make my own covers, but sadly it won't work correctly in windows XP, so I have been looking for a replacement. Your program is a nice litte replacement for me and i'm glad I found it. Here are some points that I would like to see maybe in a future version. 1. PRINT SOLID BOX CUT-OUT LINES FOR THE BACK INLAY, so it's easier to see the fold lines on the spines e.t.c. 2. THE ABILITY TO ROTATE THE SPINE TEXT. So you can set the left side to 90' and the right side to 270'. 3.TO BE ABLE TO COPY THE TRACK LISTINGS TO THE CLIPBOARD. so I could paste them into a text database or incorperate a track database into CDCC itself maybe?. 4. TO BE ABLE TO CENTRALIZE OBJECTS i.e. Track listings, A Toolbar Button To Click Left,Middle,Right. I know it's a lot to ask for but this program is definitely a winner with me...!
